Let’s be honest.

People make EVERYTHING harder than it has to be because they aren’t honest. STOP FUCKING LYING. Be honest about how you feel and I guarantee you things will be a lot easier. People love the excuse “I didn’t want to hurt her/his feelings”…so you lie to them…because you don’t want to hurt their feelings. Because, that makes all of the sense in the world. No. That hurts, more than anything, because they weren’t worthy of the truth. There is no justification for lying, that is a deliberate choice. The thing about choices, you have to live with them. Good or bad. People have so many failed friendships/relationships because they aren’t honest. Honest about what they really want from their partner, or friends. If someone is doing something you don’t like, tell them! I’d rather you hate me for my honesty than hate me for a lie. It’s just so unnecessary. Save yourself the headache. STOP LYING SO DAMN MUCH. When somebody tells you the truth, you need to accept it. It’s not them being mean, it’s them telling you how they feel and you should respect that. Don’t ask me anything you really don’t want to know the answer to because I am not a coy kind of girl. I don’t believe in sugar coating. For what??? Not only do you need to stop lying to other people, you need to stop lying to yourself. Stop being afraid to be true to yourself.  If every one kept their intentions on the table, everyone can make their own decisions. Lets not forget the, “I didn’t lie I just didn’t say anything”. A lie of omission is STILL a lie. One lie is enough to question ALL truths. Be honest with yourself. Stop making excuses for people. People treat you the way they do because THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT TO DO. Sorry for the Kanye rant. Lol. Seriously though, do better. A half truth is a whole lie, and a lie is a lie, no matter how you embellish it. Just so we’re clear on things here are a few definitions.

•false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; afalsehood.

•something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture:

•to speak falsely or utter untruth knowingly, aswith intent to deceive.

free of deceit and untruthfulness; sincere.

Let’s start on an honesty journey.
