God, bless America.

I am in no way surprised with everything going on in the USA.  Trump is doing EVERYTHING he said he would do. People actually voted for him. Trump has shown during his brief time in office that he should have been, and should be, taken both seriously and literally — by everyone. He has shown us who he is, and the scariest part of it all is people actually believe in him. People support him. Everything they were thinking, he said it. Trump is nothing short of unsuitable, undesirable, and repulsive. Trump exemplifies bigotry, in its purest form. A bigot is a person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own, and bigotry is the corresponding state of mind. Trump is obstinately devoted to his prejudices and opinions even when his views are challenged AND proven to be false or not universally applicable or acceptable.

The American republic was founded on a set of beliefs that were tested during the Revolutionary War. Among them was the idea that all people are created equal, whether European, Native American, or African American, and that these people have fundamental rights, such as liberty, free speech, freedom of religion, due process of law, and freedom of assembly. The phrase “insure domestic tranquility,” which is found in the Preamble to the United States Constitution, refers to the need to keep the peace and the assurance that people can conduct their lives and business without fear of social disorder, rebellions and riots. In no way is stripping people of their rights going to keep the peace. There is no rhyme or reason why people cannot travel throughout the US freely. After all, this is the land of the free. Right? The list of unacceptable decisions is growing rapidly, and it has only been 11 days of Trump in Office.  It is with great hope; leaders across the nation affected by Trumps decisions can respect the American people and distinguish between them and the hostile policies of the U.S. government.  I pray that too much damage isn’t done while he is in office. I pray the retaliation from everyone affected by his decisions aren’t directed at us, who have no position of power in those decision making processes.  Lord, hear our prayers.  By no means is Trump making America great again.

I am against every form of racism and segregation, every form of discrimination. I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color.” — Malcolm X

We are living in the time where we should not only voice opinions but actually take action. Not by rioting, this is beyond me. I am not sure why destroying your own neighborhood is something thought out to change anything. You have to live there. To destroy your own resources is irrational and illogical. I do not have the answer as to what should be done but we can all start by doing our research. Go about things the right way. In my opinion, the right way is impeachment; let’s just get him out of office. There is no way we can all just sit back and complain about the distress one man is causing and not do anything about it. Now, more than ever, we need to be prayerful, educated, informed, and aware of everything going on around us. We are living in this. We will all be effected one way or another. All in all God, bless America.
